DOUBLE PROGRAM NAGHOL and MARSHMALLOW
duets by MUTE COMP. PHYSICAL THEATRE



NAGHOL is the name of a manhood test on the Pacific island of Pentecost. In NAGHOL Mute Comp. dives into the world of rituals and highlights different cultures rituals - their importance and qualities. NAGHOL is based on choreographic material created at the Portuguese festival Angel Art Festival in August 2012.


In MARSHMALLOW - from 2007 - Mute Comp. explores the jackass-generation´s need to go to
extremes to feel ife. To feel alive being constantly stimulated and fulfilled, regardless of cost.

The duet which lasts approx. 15 minutes, was premiered in 2007 at St. Marks Church, after which it was entered in Bard College, New York and next repeated at the International Festival "Open Look" in St. Petersburg, Russia.
